Wayne movie posters were distributed to the theaters to promote
Duke's films. In cases where space was limited, small versions
were used. In most cases the larger movies posters were folded
and sent from theater to theater. When the poster became worn,
it was discarded - making them a highly sought after John Wayne
collectible.
